Default New to me 2007 A4 B7, another BT question

All,

Recently purchased the 07 A4 with the Navigation Plus installed (multimedia interface) and steering wheel with audio and phone mode and speaker buttons. When I push the mode or speaker button on the steering wheel the screen in the center of the cluster says something along the lines of "No Function, Not Installed".

I had the vehicle to the dealer and asked about bluetooth and they said, "sorry, sucka, not available for your ride."

So I think I've tried pairing the phone, but not seeing the car when I try to pair.

Questions:
Am I missing something? Is the BTthere and I am just missing it?
If there is not BT, can I add it to the existing system?

Thanks!

If you don't have bluetooth, try putting in a Parrot system. It plugs into the back of your radio, and uses the same type of plugs that Audi radios accept so it is very easy. Just be sure to see if the 2007's are compatable on the Parrot website. There were some changes in 2007, that may or may not make a difference. You can also get a controller that will enable your steering wheel phone button to work. I think it is the CK3000 Parrot, the steering wheel controller is an accessory on the Parrot website, it is just a little hard to find on the site. If you think you might want to do this, try a search for Parrot bluetooth, and a 2006 A4, you will find a great thread someone put together on how to install the system both the Parrot unit and the SW controller. It even has pictures. I can't remember which forum it is on.

I don't see why BT wouldn't be available for your vehicle, but it may be simpler to go the Parrot route like B7Night said than retrofit the OEM stuff.

Default Thanks!

Looks like a winner, just have some serious work to do. For those that look at this later, here are the threads that I found on the internet.
