Default New Owner w/ A coolant loss issue

Just bought my 2006 A4 2.0T and I have a coolant loss issue. Sounds just like the guy in this thread... No external leaks. I've had it pressure tested etc.

My question is... Has this been an issue with these cars? Also, am I missing something? Is there another thread I should be reading? I've searched and this is the closest I could find, but it seems to have not gotten resolved.

I haven't heard anything about this before, so I'm guessing it's not a widespread issue.

yeah, no problems with coolant here. after a pressure test does the coolant level go down? are the cylinder head bolts properly torqued?

Took it to another shop today. They put it on the lift, pulled the plastic underneath and pressure tested it. Turns out the bottom radiator hose connector is cracked. It wasn't leaking enough to make it pool on the plastic under it and drip, which is why we didn't find it yesterday with minimal investigation. Part will be here tomorrow and hopefully it solves the issue.

So far I'm extremely pleased with this car! Too bad this had to be my first post about it
