Default oil additives?

I have a question here, so any imput. would be helpful. Does anyone add or put anything in your oil before you drain it to help combat the sludge . Change my own, so just looking for anything to help my engine out. Also I am about to replace the in tank fuel pump ( as directed by audi when i took it there. telling me that is the reason for my fuel pressure codes not the pump on top or anything realted to that extended warrenty) there anything else i should no about the in tank one. thanks in advance

Thumbs up Oil treatment to combat sludge

I have been using an oil treatment (Pro-ma MBL8 Oil additive) to keep my oil free from sludge. However its to be used on a regular basis for maximum benefits as its not just a one treatment product. The advantages to a product that is for regular use is that the ingredients are not so harsh unlike the one treatment products that have powerful and sometimes harmful chemical cleansing ingredients. The Proma MBL8 that I use is also beneficial for many other functions (ie its multi-functional) here are some of the other benefits that I copied from the webpage www.fueloiltreatments.com.au .....

The MBL (Metal Based Lubricant) Concentrated Oil Additive is an outstanding oil supplement for petrol and diesel engines. Designed to increase horsepower and fuel economy, restore compression, reduce emissions, oil consumption, engine and gear wear, MBL8 Concentrated Oil Additive consists of micro-metallic particles suspended in a base oil. A feature of this impressive formula are the spherical micro-metallic particles which provide superior lubrication, reducing friction, heat and wear. They conform to the irregularities on the surface of the moving parts resulting in a repaired and more easily lubricated surface. This action improves compression and horsepower within the internal combustion engine.

So far this product has exceeded my personal expectations.
