Exclamation P0455 Code I really need some help..

Hey guys I'm new here, but I have been on audizine forms for few years now with the same user name.

I have a problem with my car, I have a cod that came up P0455, on my car since is a B7 A4Q, PCV Valve is a common problem that goes bad on these engines/cars.
I have replaced PCV Valve which was bad, 125$ @ Audi, Also I have replaced a fuel cap, 3rd cylinder coil pack went bad, and one of the breather hoses I seen was bad so that got replaced as well.
Also Purge Valve was bad so I got that replaced at the same time.

Now I got new breather house which I replaced it today, and the car has the same problem, the engine shakes/vibrates at time to time. And the code came back.

Is there anything else that i should look in to before taken the car to the shop and do fog fuel system test to check for leaks?

I have a 17 month old baby girl that drives with me everyday to a baby sitter and I hate to see my self stuck on the side of the road in the middle of the winter, Please guys I really need your help.

Thank You in Advance.

New Purge Valve

Breather Hose that's been replaced today.

Welcome to the forums.

I'd say check underneath the car. P0455 is an EVAP code and there are EVAP lines underneath the car coming from your gas tank.

I had the same problem and I couldn't figure out what it was on my 1.8T. I replaced the gas cap and the problem still persisted. I also at one point replaced the EVAP canister regulator valve (I don't know if you've checked this yet, it could also be the problem) with the same result.

Anyway, I realized that one of the lines underneath the car had a leak (you can actually hear it in my case). Ever since I replaced that line, the light went away.

Any reason all coil packs were not replaced? Recall makes it free. Shaking & Vibration is a big sign of those as well.

Not sure about that code.

BTW, be patient for a response on this forum. It does not get very much traffic by people who can answer alot of questions. Most people are here to read or ask questions themselves. Maybe try Vortex?

Maybe someone could put together a stickey on known codes and related fixes. That would be nice im sure.

Thank you for the effort, I really have no other choice's other than do a smoke/fog test on the fuel system.
I'm going to take my car to a shop tonight so they could tell me whats going on tomorrow.

I will keep you guys posted to see what a shop is going to tell me.

I had a charcoal canister go bad actually and I think I had that same code. It did not effect the car running though, It made the gas tank tough to fill as it would make the gas handle heep clicking and only let tiny amounts of gas in. General emmittions codes

I think this was the code mine threw when my evap purge valve went bad. It didn't affect the way my car ran, though.

Thank you guys for your input,

So this is what i did, I have ran out of ideas of what could be wrong with it, so I took my car to a VW-Audi shop,

They have Audi tool scan better than AutoZone, what they did is, smoke/fog test on the car to see if it has any leaks, they have found 2 leaks on the car: one of them was a bad house by the tank, which they fixed, and another one was a bad fuel cap. Both parts got replaced and 285$ spend.

I went to pick up the car today, thinking the problem has been resolved, well when the car got worm, (at cold I didn't notice it) but when i drove for few block, I noticed the problem has came back.
It only does it when the car is at idle, on the stop light or when i stop... RPMS don't go up or down, they stay at where they should be. Its really hard to describe what it does, I will take a video of it and shoot over here for you guys to see.
Now it could be few things wrong with it, and I'm thinking of fuel injectors of MAF sensor..

Other than that, I have no idea what to look for, and what needs to be done for my car to run good again.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thank you in Advance!
