Default P3 Cars Boost Guages

First of all, if you have not seen these, take a look here, P3 Cars Vent display/guage

These are currently produced for the B8 and other cars, and have been developed for the B7, but not produced for it. From Tim @ P3 Cars:

Ron,

Thanks so much for your interest in our product. We have developed
for this platform but interest has been all over the map... for a
while it seemed like we were going to get an initial launch group buy
or some sort of promotion going on the forums but no one really wanted
to take the lead on that so at this point we have kind of just shelved
it until we get thru all our new product launches. If we could get 20
or so people to commit I could have one in your hands in 30 days or
so. It is one of my favorite Audi's and would love to bring it to
market, it just needs to be a volume seller long term.

Cheers,
Tim
Any love here for this item? Because I would be in for the win. Love the fit/finish and the ability to read and clear codes as well as the different functions.......

Can you find out how much it would be? Would it be about the same as the B8 option, or would they offer a discount of sorts for the fact that they'd be guaranteed so many purchases at once, group buy style? I would want it with the analog boost tap as well, myself; just because I feel that having a direct feed from the pressure, rather than having to rely on sensors, is a better diagnostic for boost leaks and such. But that's just me.

If the group buy price was around $350 with the analog tap (so what, $320 for just the gauge? Assuming the price of the tap mirrors that of the one for the B8 model) then I'd totally be in. This item is sleek and efficient and has pretty much every monitoring function I could want, except for AFR, which can be added to one of the analog ports, so yea, it has pretty much all in one without having to mar the looks of the interior with a dozen different gauges and pods and other such muck. So yea, I'm game if the price is in a good range and we can get another handful of folks to sign up as well

I'll shoot him an email on it, but he's looking for 20 people to commit. I just don't think I could get 20 people on here in the B7 section to commit to this because:

a: there isn't a hell of alot of traffic here for the B7
b: I'm new to the forums, so who the hell is going to follow me into a group buy
c: "Why would I want this if all I really need is a boost guage I can get for $199?" factor.....

Since the interior is the same between the B6 and the B7, I'm sure there's interest with the B6 crowd as well. There's more and more B6 owners who are doing a lot of performance tuning. Something like this would be a nice change to the column mounted pods that only block the cluster display.
