Passenger Side Regulators, Broken Glovebox Door, New Battery, Broken Trunk Latch
I'm being asked to pay $450 for new passenger side regulators so that my window can roll down again. The glovebox door is going to be something like $200 I think. The new battery is $200 installed. The trunk latch is probably about $150 installed.
Is that really the best price for the door regulators? I think they're $100 / $150 for parts online, but damn that's $300+ in labor...
Everything on my 2005.5 A4 is breaking. The paint chipping like crazy from the rims, the driver door motor already broke once ($500), the roof over the driver side B pillar squeaks like crazy, the PCV valve already broke once ($300), a speaker is blown, and the battery has a bad cell. This is by far the most money I've ever had to spend just to keep a car running and I honestly can't afford it anymore

Evanf..mr persistent here LOL! :-) Not sure what to say but there are things on audis that need to be replaced. i am sure once you get it all fixed the car will pay you back in driving pleasure. your car is 5 years old and things break but understand your frustration. actually in 5 years if you add up all the costs you mention, that seems pretty cheap IMO during the 5 years of car life. thanks for the battery price. i will probably go to autozone and get a replacement and hope it doesnt cost 200 for it but will find out soon.

its a stealership man, if u have them do the work, its always wayy overpriced...thats why I'm trying to become a DIYer. And the battery is pretty expensive but i guarantee that they are charging u like 60$ for installation, just pick 1 up at autozone and install that 1 urself, i mean thats a no brainer.
