Default Please help!!

My son recently put E92 gas in my 2006 Audi A4 2.0T. I am scared that he may have ruined the engine because he filled up the tank all the way. Can someone tell me what will happen to the engine because of this?

Long-term, not a good idea. One tank, I doubt you'll hurt anything, but your car will probably not run very well. If you want, get one of those cheap, hand-powered siphon pumps and suck it out. I have one, so that's probably what I'd do.

Won't really hurt it. I used E85 once when I was driving long distance (the place I stopped at was out of premium). Since I was cruising on the freeway I didn't notice any performance problems and fuel economy was about the same. You can do what King suggested and siphon some or all of it out. I would just drive it and at about 3/4 tank fill up with premium. Keep filling up everytime you get to 3/4 tank and with in 3 or 4 fill ups it should be fine.

Ok, thanks. The car has been running fine and normal or at least I haven't noticed a difference in it.

drive it gently, you will be fine.

the engine has knock sensors on it so it should retard the ignition sufficiently.

you could also add some octane booster to try and get the octane levels up.
