I just purchased a 2007 A4. Love it so far. We only received one good flip key with remote. The second remote had the key broken in half and the remote did not work. I was able to get a blank key cut at keysfast.info and at first I was skeptical that it would work, but it actually did. They cut it from a picture I sent them. I then was able to remove the broken key from the remote and insert the new key. Had to do a little grinding on the tang, but got it to fit. It was a little longer than the original and also had to do a little shaping on the remote to get it to flip down, not pretty, but got that working too. Took the remote to the car and got it synced it. Everything works great.

The valet key question...I assume that it also has the immobilizer chip in it. That being said, does it have to be programmed by the dealer? I just would like to have another key to start and run the car without the remote.
