So, concluding the issue with my B7, they replaced the TQ at the dealer and the problem is gone. Was it a supposed 'seal leak' internally? Who knows. That's their story, though, and it fixed the problem. Hopefully that's the end of it! I don't want to think very hard about the possibility of this problem coming back when I'm out of warranty...

 

I have a 2007 a4 2.0t triptonic and I am bouncing around at 1800-2000 rpm after that it stops. Doesn't happen right away but the cars temperature does not really matter its all of the time after probably thirty seconds of running. It happened all winter and its still happening now. No other noticable issues besides that its slow to start up. Recently had a main airflow sensor replaced. Other than that she runs well.
Any ideas? Is it the same issue?
