Thanks for any help in advance.. my new to me 2006 a4 s-line avant has two inserts for sd cards in the system. I assume these are for music and the dealer confirmed that, but doesn't seem to know what size (4gb?) sd card can go in, how the system "reads" the music (.mp3 files?) etc. etc.

Any help??

It will not accept SDHC cards. It will only work with normal SD cards. The biggest available size of SD cards available is 4 gb, although 2 gb are much more common.

The files must be .mp3, and I've read in some places that it might also be picky about bit rate. There are some files on mine that it can't read, and it might have something to do with that.
