Default stock radio Symphony and MP3s

Hi All,
I just purchased a 2008 special edition A4 (B7) and was wondering if the stock radio plays mp3s? I burned a CD with MP3 files and when I tried loading this into the CD changer an error message was displayed and the CD was ejected. Has anybody else experienced the same problem?

Thanks for your help

It should play MP3 CDs. It works on mine. What was the error message?

How are you burning MP3's into CDs? Maybe I'm doing it wrong.

Thanks

I use a program that came on my computer. It's called Sonic Recordnow.

One of the options is called a "Jukebox" cd - for making mp3 cds to play in your home stereo system.

What're your options on your burning program?

Thanks JR - i just use window's mediaplayer and burn data disc option. I'll look into the program you used.

I didn't like how iTunes grouped all the songs into 1 folder. I had to scroll through hundreds of songs just to find the one i wanted. Do you know the way around this?

The program I use has folders for the artists, then the albums and then the songs... Can iTunes do this too?

yeah ive used sonic record now and its a good program. as far as itunes honestly my mp3 cds are only about 40 songs, and ive not tried organizing them into files like i know record now can... i usually will dock my ipod into the glove compartment and just listen to that most of the time . im not sure, ill try and let you know.

It can at least do by album. If you're viewing a playlist by album when you burn the CD, that's how it will be organized.
