Try this again. Posted in the wrong spot. Anyone have experience with putting a tow hitch on their B7. I see that Curt makes one that fits. I've seen that hitch a B6, holding a bike rack, but was unable to talk to the owner. Looks like a special wiring harness is recomended to get proper brightness out of trailer lights.

 

I bought a rack for the top rather than a hitch. Im sure you can get one if you really want one.

 

I thought about the roof rack, but also thought that the hitch could give me the option to tow a tiny pop up camper, or very small Boston Whaler.

 

True but i thought how many times would I do that. Thats why I got the rack, I did not own or intend to own an actual trailer.
