i have the choice of 2 audi a4s and i wanna get some opinions on which one...both 06 black on black with a 6 speed manual...one is fwd s-line....the other is quattro regular a4 with premium package....the quattro one is 1000 dollars more expensive and has been in an accident...the s-line hasnt been in an accident....any opinions?

Keep looking--there are plenty out there. I would say the Quattro, but if it's anything more than a minor fender bender, I'd pass on that one. I live in GA and even though we don't get snow, the quattro makes a HUGE difference in the handling.

I agree, keep looking. There are plenty of others out there. Try to find a good S-Line with Quattro. It's not about driving in snow. A Quattro has far better handling and feel.

Not racing and needind AWD for a launch or needing for snow, The FWD will be fine. It will be faster from a roll and also withouth the AWD it would be lighter with slighly better top end acceleration and MPG. I would get that FWD Sline if you like it.

Thumbs down

Dive both FWD and AWD before you decide. They do handle different. I have the quattro, and have driven an FWD S-Line loaner. There is some difference in handling, and the steering felt different. The biggest thing was that the FWD spun its wheels way to easily. It made it harder to step on the gas and go. Just a little to much gas and the car would break loose. Not something you want when someone is coming right at you.
