I know you can just insert the dvd on the navigation slot, but what about if I want to listen to a cd? I cant listen to a cd and also have my navigation working at the same time? I have an ipod slot and the sd slots too but I am just curious if this can be done. I was just wondering if maybe the navigation had another slot somewhere on the vehicle to always have the dvd in.

 

you cannot have both at once. Its either Navi DVD or a CD.

However, does your navi have MP3 card slots underneath where the DVD slot is? If so, use those - you can get cards that hold massive amounts of songs- which is way better than just one cd.

 

I have seen a 2004 issue of the RNS-E Owner's Manual and it says the system is capable of using "up to" 256 MG cards. Is that the same in newer versions of the RNS-E? How much (recording) time does 256 MG relate to?
