Whistling / Bearing Noise In Engine
I have a 2006 A4 with 107K miles. It recently started making a whistling noise after it has warmed up. It only makes the noise when it is at idle or decelerating. It whistles both in park and neutral. It sounds like a bad bearing to me, but it continues for a few seconds after the motor has stopped. I cant tell exactly where the sound is coming from but it appears to be loudest between the firewall and motor.
This is my first Audi, and I dont want it to be the first time I have to take one of my cars to a mechanic to diagnose a problem, but I am stumped.
Thanks for any advise!

The PCV is under the plastic engine cover (where 2.0FSI turbo, and Audi rings are). Pull it straight up and you will see the PCV under it. It is black, round and has a plastic tube connected to it. Mine went at 24tmls. The only symptom my car had was oil being pushed out around the oil filler cap.
