The OEMs are 235/45/17


I am just wondering if 245/45/17 will fit without any problems.


My GTO (OEM 245/45/17) needs two tires and my wife's A4 needs 2 tires. So I can order four and get a little discount

 

any life out there?

 

unfortunately for the B7 thread there isn't a great deal of life... and i cannot really provide much information other than perhaps calling your dealership and asking them

on OEM wheels too? that's what I am thinking about

 

My car had 245/45/17 tires on the stock wheels when I purchased my 06 A4 Avant 2.0T from the Audi dealer. I have had great luck with the Potenza Pole Positions although they are pretty much shot after 22k.

 

they will probably fit but keep in mind that 2 tires will be taller then the others. If she has a Quattro, then don't do it unless you buy 4

for the most part 245/45 will fit without a problem on stock height, if car is lower than you might run into some rubbing issues, I am running 245/30 or 35 and am lowered with no problem. 45 on stock height is nothing wrong!!!
