Default WTF A holes!!

My wife just called me to say that someone f'd with my car and the hood has pry marks in 3 different places and my f'n bumper is hanging off in an f'n parking garage on the other side of town(where she parked)

Sounds like some a$$hole took a screw driver or something like it and tried to open my car like a can of tuna. I first thought maybe someone was trying to get the headlights, but they didn't take 'em.

I just set up an appointment to get my allroad chipped and now this.

F%$#^$^%$%#$#%$%#%$$KERS

Yeah, I know this isn't important in the big scheme of things, but I knew you guys would know the pain.

Thumbs down

Nah...no enemies. I called a buddy who stopped down to take a look for me and he said it looks like an amateur theif was trying to get the lights out 'cause there's a whole lot of gauges near the headlamp assemby on both sides. The bumper is cracked and pulled away from the car which took some effort. He also said it looks like they f'd up the hood along the fender in three or four places along the length of the driver's side fender. The guy probably got pissed and decided to take it out on the car 'cause there's no reason to pry between the hood and fenders like that.

I'm gonna take a look at it in the am and see what's up. The garage clearance won't allow for a truck to get in there, so I'm going to have to get the bumper secured enough to either get it home, or to somewhere for a flatbed.

That sucks. Do you know if the parking garage had any security cameras? If so, maybe the police can catch this guy.

The parking garage only has cams at the entrance and exits. Nothing in the garage. I've seen the car and it was definitely some wannabe theif trying to remove my headlamps with a crow bar or something similar. Moron f'd up everything but the friggin lamps and he didn't even manage to get 'em.

Due to work and travel and getting mods for the allroad, I haven't had the adjuster take a look, but will do it next week.

Any ideas on what the whole front bumper/grill assembly will cost to replace and install?

One thing i was wondering about was if the A4 alarm was supposed to go off when they tried to get the lights like that with the screw driver? I'm just thinking that I used to not worry about someone prying at my lamps because i jsut figured the alarm would go off. Should i start to worry about that again? I park my black A4 in many parking garages sometimes and hope people dont try to get my lights some time, now that i heard that. They look cool with black. Thats why I don't want them bending my front up.
