2009 - B8 8K 2.0 TDI 105kw Noise when idling
Hi All,
Car details:
2009 Audi A4 2.0 TDI B8 (8K) CVT Multitronic, 4 CYL Diesel Turbo , 2.0L
It has done approximately 222,000 kilometers
The last few weeks the engine has developed a rattling/spluttering/tinny sound when idling at below 2 rpm. If I were to hazard a guess, it is coming from beneath the engine cover (behind the steering wheel). No problem driving, performance is normal. I note that the car also shakes a little when starting the engine which may or may not be related.
I had the timing belt changed not too long ago.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
