2014 A4 AMI SD card problem
I put the SD card in with some song files. some of the songs come up in AMI as "track damaged" and is greyed out and won't play, while other files play fine. and they all play fine on my computer and on my iPhone connected to the car. and I looked at all the files and I see no difference in the properties of the files (they are all supported formats) anyone else have this issue? it doesn't make sense to me.
I don't have that issue
Have you tried the other SD card slot? Does the same thing with the same songs in both slots?
Have you tried stuff like deleting all the files from the SD card - formatting the card and putting the files back on?

I dont think I have a second slot. do I? its the weirdest thing, I put 88 songs on the card, then the car goes through the first 30 and says they are "damaged" but then i looked at the files that work and all 88 are there. so its almost like it made bad copies of the files or something. I tried it on two different cards. but as long as i still can play all the files then its fine i guess.
I had the same issue. If you are using a mac the files will sometimes say _. or ._ can't remember before the file name.
What I did was convert all the AAC files to MP3 in iTunes, then go to my Windows side and delete all the hidden ._ or _. files. Now they all work. Really annoying.
