I just bought a 2010 A4 Avant- Premium (which I learned is the entry level-lol)
I want to put in a nav./back up camera, but want to use the existing screen. I don't want 2 screens on the dash. Has anyone found anything? Not having much luck with my google consulting.

 

I just ordered a system (Audi A4/S4/RS4(B8) 2009-2015 Aftremarket Navigation Head Unit) for my 2012 B8. I haven’t gotten it yet, but when I eventually get it installed, I’ll post an update.

 

Subscribed. Interesting product. Can’t really tell if back-up camera is automatic. Am I missing something?

The camera is completely automatic.

 

I can’t say enough about it. To be honest, I was feeling quite a bit of buyer’s remorse after buying my car mostly because I didn’t get a car that had more features such as navigation and rearview camera. I even seriously considered trading it in for something else. I thought I’d feel better about it after I installed a third party product, but as you know finding one is like finding a unicorn.

Now, with the system installed, I love my car!!!

You can check out BAM Auto Safety's Audi Backup Camera's. Somebody on here suggested it to me and I had it installed. It works great so far.
