Default Apr ecu flash for 2010 a4 quattro manual

Im getting the apr flash done tomorrow.. just wanted to get some reviews on it..any problems with it? has anyone had issues with the dealer not honoring a warranty claim or anything like that? I am getting the disable feature installed too, so i can switch it back to stock settings before taking it in for service. Does this mod affect the longevity of the engine/drivetrain? thanks guys

I had this done a few weeks ago and I love it. If I were you just go with the stock and 93oct settings. You can def. notice the extra torque you driving around with, 73 more to be exsact. And if your worryed about the dealer, as long as you have the lock out the program is invisable 100%. In total with tax and everything it Cousteau me $850. $600 for the program $150 for the ability to swich, $50 for the lock out and $50 in tax. Would I do it again yes. If you want to build your Audi up for some serious racing this is a good idea but if you are doing it just because it the only mod you can do to the car without anyone knowing and having a daily driver that you can turn on and off the badass I think it's still a good idea.

You're gonna love it! Just do yourself a favor and throw it in stock mode every now and again to remind yourself exactly what a difference the 93 program makes!

Agreed, drove back from the drag strip two days ago in the 93 program but when I got home I put it back in stock for city driving and I missed all that power the whole time.

i just got my B8 and want the APR chip so bad. APR is the only company besides stasis i'd go with because of the ability to keep the warranty. well APR cuz i can switch back and forth.

i say go for it 100%, i've been lurking on 4 B8 forums and i've never seen a post for a problem with the APR chip for the B8

When I was debating to get the chip or not I talked to APR and said in the 12 years they been making chip programs they never had a problem with reliability of car. They also said and this is what sold me was that "not even their competitors have had issues" so it wasent a pitch where they where telling me ours is the best don't choose them. Also the dyno results from APR compaired to let say AWE is very impressive. Also the driveablity of the APR program is great
