I purchased the plan today from Audi of Wilmington, DE. Paid the suggested MSRP of $820 but did avoid any sales tax. I called 3 different dealers and talked to the Service Managers. They all said it would save me at least $400, probably more as prices will likely rise over the next several years. Interesting that the plan is good for up to 7 years if I don't end up racking up the miles. It does include a brake fluid change and spark plug change in addition to the routine oil and filter changes. If I don't keep the car it should add value to help with the sale.

Default Audi care costs

Audi dealers can show you that you can save 30% on your service costs based on their normal charges. All of this is if you are willing to pay over $100 an hour for their mechanics to lube hinges and shine a light on your brake pads.

Look at what is being done and price it at your local garage. The only "necessary" items are the oil and brake fluid changes. You can have them done much cheaper somewhere else.

If you have the extra cash for Audi care, the Audi mechanics do know the car and do a good job. If the $800 is a stretch you don't need it.

Agree - a maintenance plan on a new german saloon is well worth the money you pay. Sounds like you getting a good deal as well - Go for it
