Congratulations to Audi first of all on a great new A4 design. A fantastic job in Engineering and Design.

But now the complaint, I would love to get one: A4 2.0T Avant Quatro with some nice colors.... but no.

No Quattro early on and even worse... extremely limited color choice. Why? This model is bound to fly in a nation that is adjusting to such high fuel prices. No.

The fuel economy vs performance is quite astonishing and bound to do well in the US and Houston (?).

Sorry, no real value in this message unless Audi is listening and feel they can do something about this.

Is European delivery with Quattro possibly by November?

If anyone agrees Audi should provide the same choice as Europe, please chime in.

Sorry, correction: According to Audi dealer here in Houston, A4 will begin with quatro only and the avant will only be available in quatro...
I got a different message from another thread on this forum. For me that's good news.

 

Yeah, i also saw an Arizona dealer post on another thread that we'll be getting ONLY quattro initially, which would be ideal. The new A4 has me contemplatingthe switch to a sedan.

 

They are right, the Avant will only come to the US in a quattro at least at firstwhich is great, but the possible limited color choices is a drag and the slushbox only is absolutely horrible.. I was thinking about goingAvant for 09 from my sedan but no manual means no go. but again Audi is only doing what they think will be profitable in the limited wagon market here.
