CD player does not show track name or cd title?

So far so good with my 2009 A4....except that it seems to me that the stereo should show the cd name and track title....not just media and track 1 etc.....
Am I missing something? I have tried settings to no avail. Defect?

Depends on the disc and if it was recorded using CD-TEXT. Check another CD. Most burned CDs or compilations don't always have that feature.
