Default chipping 2009 a4

I want to chip my new a4. Will the dealer do this for me(so that I can get away with not voiding the warranty?). I know that if I do it myself it will probly void the warranty, or that I can do it myself and reset it back to stock features when I take it in. But I want to know if anyone has ever had a dealer do it.

thats how the GIAC flashloader works, make it chipped, then change it back to stock when it goes to the dealer. BUT... I doubt anyone has anything out for it yet, I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

Go to www.vwaudiforum.co.uk Plenty of people have them for the new B8. MTM do some and some other suppliers have already chipped the 1.8T and the 2.0T in the UK and Germany

Default Approved ECU upgrades for 09 a4

Here in the US you can have your dealer upgrade the ECU program with STASIS...and it does not void the warranty!! Also, at least at my dealer (Bend, Oregon) they will do an APR ECU upgrade with no voided warranty. I think either will pump up the HP by 40 or so and similar numbers on the Torque...

Is there anywhere you can look at the ECU program for the new B8 from STaSIS? Their website still hasn't updated so you can search for the '09 parts...

Default Stasis ECU

I haven't been able to find any info on the b8 Stasis ECU upgrade. The only info I have was what my dealer told me, which wasn't very specific.

If you go to a GIAC supplier, AWE for instance, they read the ECU and send it to GIAC which will then create a reflash for you. I emailed them today for the TTS.

I talked to a guy from STaSIS, and apparently they're close to releasing a pretty killer ECU upgrade that can be dealer installed that won't void the warranty by any means. I'll keep you posted. Any guesses on the power increases?? Seems like an amazing engine for a 2.0 already...

he was vague on the timing.. but the dealership said "before the end of the year." So it looks like we're about a month out
