Default Does anyone have a trouble free car?

I know only the people that have problems are going to post on here so I just wanted to see how many people have had a great car owning experience. Please chime in.

No issues here after 26k miles. Actually I had to get my Bose stereo head unit replaced twice because it would not eject my discs. Third time's a charm because it's been fine ever since.

Nothing major here. Just the standard Audi "nuances"

Default nope

see my many threads...wheel vibration (control arms), power steering shudder (waiting on TSB), jerky shifting from stop, and a new one...some strange sound from the driver's side of the engine compartment that goes in rhythm/cycles...no idea what this is yet

I am getting a 6MT so the shifting problems are not a worry for me. The control arms should be resolved by now as goes with the steering shudder.

Those seem to be the biggest complaints. If so I think I am getting a great car. Should start building it in a few weeks. Can't wait.

Are these issues only on 2009 models? I'm wondering if anyone has experienced problems on the 2010 model.

No problems only 4500 so far, sounds like the 2010 late models solved the steering shudder. Good job going with the 6MT.

Depends what you mean by 'a problem'. I have a 2010. I've heard that 'jet engine' sound that others have mentioned after cold starting. Don't think I'd call that a problem yet. I've also experienced flakiness with the Bluetooth connection to my phone and the Audi Music Interface. They both have to be reinitialized occasionally. The AMI does that deal where the song playing is not the song highlighted on the display. This is usually when I first start it up. Seems to straighten itself out by the time it gets to the second song. Overall, I'm very pleased with the car, but I've only owned it for 2 weeks. Ask me again in 10 years. Owned my previous car ('89 Acura Legend) for 20 years.
