Default extended cargo mats for the A4 Avant

does anyone know where I can purchase an extended cargo mat for the 2010 A4 Avant? the manual that came with the car shows an extended cargo mat that folds out to cover the bumper which I desperately need as I have a 100 lb black labrador that jumps in and out of the back cargo area. I checked with the local dealer where I purchased the car from and they didn't carry it. Second question: Does anyone have issues with cooling the car for rear passengers / dog in Cargo area? I noticed that the A4 Avant doesn't have rear vents. I live in CA and it gets very hot during the summers and wondering how to cool down the car in the back with out hte rear vents.

Thanks for all your help. this is my first Audi.

Our '09 A4 Avant has the vents at the rear of the console in addition to heater outlets under the seats.

We haven't tried our car in really warm weather, but the climate control seems very unobtrusive and comfortable.

Try Bernardi Audi Parts for the extended mat...if it is an OEM part, chances are they have it. Normally they are a better deal than the stealership.
We have the regular long mat (no bumper cover), and it's useful for dirty stuff but gets in the way for accessing the spare or tire tools.

Default try waterproof blanket

You may want to try http://www.mambeblankets.com/petblanket.aspx. 5x7 ft. I fold it back under on sides and behind second row seats, then roll enough to cover bumber at back (which I then roll out over bumper when dog goes in or out). Good dimensions because it also covers entire area if rear seats are down, and comes 10" up each side to protect if I'm hauling mulch or other stuff. Camel goes well with tan interior; no good match if you have grey - black would be too hot.

For only bumper protection, you may want to consider having clear film installed (same as used for protection of front from chips) by tint shop.

I also had Huper Optik ceramic tint put on all rear windows. Best for heat rejection.
