Default Front License Plate Bracket..

Anybody know how hard this is to swap out? I know they sell the fill-in, in NJ they sell the car with the front license plate bracket installed, however, I would much rather the other way around because it makes the frontend look that much better. Anybody know if it just snaps out, or would i have to take the grill and or bumper off?

I'd like to know too. I bought the car with the panel that doesn't have a license plate holder. In Cali, the front plate is required by law. The dealer said I'd have to drill a couple of holes in the panel in order to be complaint. Thats not something I want to do.

They should be free from the dealer I think. At least here in Ontario, Canada there's the option for front license plate and it's $0.00

In Arizona you don't need a front plate so it comes with a cover plate. Agree it looks clean but I wanted to install my Euro plate just for fun. The cover plate comes off with two hex screws that screw in left and right lower part of the grill, you may have screw holes present there for future cover. Anyway, looks sharp now. I've heard people buy the covers for $25 but I'm not selling mine.

Oh, only states where front plate is NOT required come with the cover plate.
