Has anyone had serious faults with their Fuel Injectors?

I have a 2013 A4 with 30,000 miles. It went for it's 25k servicing a couple of months ago. Last weekend, my car lost power while driving. It was shaking violently and when I pulled over to the side of the road I could smell gasoline and the exhaust pipe was puttering. The result - 3 leaking fuel injectors and consequently damaged spark plugs.

My concern is that this happened to a 3 year old car with $30k miles. Anyone else had this issue?
