FYI:front license plate panel
Underneath the US License plate holder is the Euro plate holder, minus the chrome strips above and below it. It's decent but you can see the holes for the screws..
kngfisher: Why do I need the spacers. I just purchased the panel, will install the panel today. I have a couple torx screw drivers. T20, T15, and T10. Anyone know the exact size? Anyway, I see two screw holes on each side of the panel at the bottom, but not sure where to screw them onto the car.
Any help from anyone that has already done this would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have the front license plate panel installed on the car rather then the blockoff plate and there are three big holes in the panel once installed but no threads to screw I to. Looking threw these holes ( two on top spaced for what should be a us plate and one about five inches below that between the top two) there is just metal, no holes no dimples for holes. Now if we are just supposed to take a drill and drill into the metal behind the license plate panel and then take a self tapping scew to attach the plate then why are there three holes rather then four in the lisense plate panel and second why are there no predrilled holes in metal plate behind the panel. Also, what are the holes in the panel much to large for a normal screw. When I asked my local Audi dealer parts person, they said that there were spacers missing and would have to be ordered at 1.25 each and it would take about a week to get if they could get any for parts for a 2009 are sometimes hard to get.
