Gas Flap Stuck!!!
Car is 2009 A4 2.0t Quattro.
Daughter-in-Law was involved in a VERY MINOR accident got hit in rear bumper, visually no damage unless you look really close, minor scratch or two.
Anyway, now the gas flap does not open.
Is there a reset switch / code to allow access?
I can open the access panel inside the trunk, there is a red plastic pull-tab that looks like it should release the flap, BUT when I pull on it it doesn't do anything. I'm not pulling too hard because it's just plastic (maybe 10 pounds force). Any suggestions?
Obviously, the car is useless if I can't refuel.
