2012 A4 Premium Plus. Headlights are dancing up and down for several minutes - sometimes they stop jumping up and down and sometimes they continue to do it. Where are the sensors? Are the sensors easily accessible? Could anything else be causing this? There must be a control unit somewhere that tells the headlights to "adjust". Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

 

I do not have this feature on my A4, but I did have it on my old A6. The sensors were in opposite (front and rear) corners of the car and when mine misbehaved, I ended up pulling fuse #14 (if memory serves me right). Check your fuse listing.

Sorry it has taken me so long to reply and thank you for your suggestion. It wasn't the fuse. It was the rear sensor.
