Okay, so here's my situation.

I am 18 and I want an Audi A4, very much. I have some money, I'm looking to buy one in maybe a year or so. By then I should have about $15-$18k in the bank. I'm planning on putting a down payment that would leave me at about $9-$10k still in the bank. I have a job, I'm a straight-A student with extra money from scholarships and I make some money on the side as a musician.

Basically what I want to know is this: Am I going to be able to afford a 2009 Audi A4? I've heard maintenance is high, but how high? If I really take good care of it, and trust me, I plan to (5w30 or 5w40 synthetic oil, oil changes every 3-4k if I have to, 91 octane gas, whatever else), how often am I going to need repairs? How much do repairs cost? What do you recommend me to buy in terms of how high the miles are? I plan on buying used.

I really want to save up and buy a car that I really want and am proud of that I can take really good care of instead of buying a crappy car like most people my age do. An Audi is my dream car, I just don't want to get involved in something I can't keep up with.
