Default Need help with coolant refill

Hey guys, I’m doing a turbo job on my audi A4 2013 B8 model and I’m following this video which asks me to vaccum fill the coolant line. I do not have a compressor or the tools for vaccum fill the coolant line. Is there any other way to bleed the line, is it necessary or can i just fill the coolant reservoir with new 50/50 coolant liquid and call it a day? Looked at few videos and not really gettimg anywhere with them, any help would be great!

For anyone looking for this info, I couldn’t get much info online for b8, this is what i did:

emptied the reservoir through the nipple in the bottom - take the cap off before unscrewing the nipple or it will squirt the liquid with pressure and it end up away from your drain pan.

then filtered the coolant and poured back in through the reservoir.

then opened the nipple in the bottom to let some air out until the coolant came out

put the cap back on

turned on the car with head and fan on high

works fine so far

plan to get more coolant from dealership and top it off tomorrow

Hope this helps!
