the car is a 2010 model B8 platform audi a4 2.0tdi
the car does not come with an engine oil dipstick to measure oil level and hence has a sealing cap at the top of the dipstick tube instead.Oil levels are measured on the MMI.
How does one remove this oil dipstick cap to so that i can use mityvac to suck out the engine oil to do an oil service?

 

It should just pull out. It may be held on by a screw but I doubt it.

on closer inspection,the dipstick tube cap has a pair of plastic lugs which clip it onto the oil dipstick tube
