Default Possible 09 A4 mods that doesn't void extended warranty?

So I'm a new owner of a 09 Audi A4 and would like to put some upgrades/mods on my car to make it either look better and perform better.

The only thing that comes to my mind when doing something on my car without voiding my extended warranty since I paid a lot of money for it is to get my windows tinted.

Any suggestions on what i should do will be taken into consideration and hopefully i get to see some posts.

Thanks

The first thing that I would do is consult directly with the warranty company to see where they draw the line.

Normally things like Exhaust, Intercoolers, and Suspension bits (like coilovers, springs and swaybars)will void the warranty on those particular parts, but leave the balance of the warranty in tact.

if its a 3rd party extended warranty i would check the exclusion section. I work for one and we excluded any modification that was not factory installed.

just like the factory warranty, it wont be "voided" but you will have a denied claim though

I'm not sure if my extended warranty is from a 3rd party or from the dealer itself. However i will find that out or would it tell me if i look at the paper that explains what I'm cover under my extended warranty?

I actually called audiusa and asked if the audi pure protection plan is by a 3rd party and I was told that a company "http://fd-warranty.com" was the one.

thats a factory extended warranty company so they cannot void your warranty for modifcations on the vehicle. they can only deny a claim if the a/m part in question is a direct result to a covered part failure.

So basically each time i called my audi dealership and asked them if I can change my headlights from Halogens to either HID's or LED's without voiding my warranty, and they replied no since i would void my warranty was a lie? LOL I've been dieing to change these lights for 3 months since halogens sucks *** and are less cool. The factory LED's look pretty sick and would like to put factory LED headlights on. Any clue to where i can get legit actual genuine 2009 audi a4 LED headlights?

yes - when you have a "contract" its binding until the end of the term you paid for. If you have a part fail due to something you put in that is against their terms, you will just have a denied claim but will have your other coverages until it expires.

no clue on the headlights - sorry

So i just had a chat with someone from my audi dealership who knows what i can or cannot do to my audi and he was a *** the whole time. Basically he told me I can't do anything to the engine, suspension, exhaust, and or my headlights. I asked him that even if i buy genuine audi headlights that are xexon headlights to replace my current halogens, would it still void my warranty and he said yea. So basically I agreed to a 3year 38k Mile extended warranty in which i wasn't told how much it was going to cost me "$3k" and can't do anything to my vehicle even though it's being financed I would still like to be able to make something of my car.

Then when I asked him what i can do to my car, he laughed and said "I don't know" and i was told he would know what i can and can't do. Then i asked him what if i Tinted my windows and he say's "Yea". So i'm pretty pissed right now since i can't do **** to my car besides tinting it.
