My car (2014 Audi A4) is about to touch $13K, however, since my computer screen started showing that my service is due soon in less than 30 days, I inquired about the same with many dealers over phone.

So, for 15K mile maintanence, I got lot of variation as far as OTD cost is concerned. One dealer told me around $280, another $360, and few others were like $410,497 etc.

My Questions:

1) I am wondering, why there is so much variation in terms of price? Did you guys also experience the same thing when you went or inquired for 15K service?

2) I believe some things are not covered when I go for Audi care which is costing me around $829 flat rate, is it still a good idea to go for that?

3) Would you guys recommend me to go for tire rotation?

4) Shall I go for brake related work as well. I figured out that it's cost is around $675 for front brakes and something similar for rear ones as well.

As you can see most of it is just checking and the only costs would be for fluid changes and time to "check" items off which is usually quick with a new car . As for brakes you should not have to touch them. I would say it shouldn't take more then an hour for the "check and 30 minutes for the fluid changes. 2 hours tops. Most of the stuff I do as normal 5000 mile oil changes.
