Hey guys,

I need to get the front brakes done on my B8. I was quoted at an exorbitant $675 from the Dealer. My tech friend at the dealer actually told me not to bother having it done there and just to get the OEM parts from them. I don't really like what is on the car OEM. The brakes are fine - but the wheels go black in minutes and just not satisfied with the overall stopping power. I figured this was a time for some changes. Thoughts:

- Akebono Euro Ceramics

- Rotors? This is where I am confused and have many thoughts. Can you guys help please.

I do not want to go OEM and here are the other options. I was hoping to keep the cost of the rotors to about <$150.... lemme know your thouhts please !

Genuine OEM - $219
Zimmermans - $176
Meyle - $115

I am leaning towards the Meyle's. Anyone have experience with them and with possibly ceramics?
