Should just be high rpm shifts, steering might stiffen as an result of more low end torque being produced from the jump you get shifting after 5k....

Mine is 1.8 TFSI. Turbo and Intercooler also works ahead of normal engine chip specs when sport mode is geared on.

You can notice that hearing engine revs. Also steering gets strong, and ESP too.

Regards, JULIO.

I played with the sport mode for the first time this weekend on my Prem Plus.
There is a very noticable difference. The RPMs run higher even while crusing.
I love the performance so far and the acceleration from dead stop has been impressive.

I have the premium plus too. I have definitely noticed an increase in stiffness with the suspension and steering in sport mode.

I'm asking if the sport mode puts the steering/suspension in dynamic mode as well.

I do not have drive select.

Could it be possible that the drive select feature is just a fancy toy/gimmick?

I do notice that the steering seems a little stiffer in sport but I could just be imagining it.
Confused.. how are you putting your car into "sport mode" w/o "drive select?"

Just talked to the dealer, "S" mode only changes the transmission. You need to spend the extra cash for the higher up model.
