Stasis Parts
I was wondering if the ECU upgrade and exhaust upgrade from Stasis was worth it. Does anyone have these mods on their A4? How much and where did you get it installed? How much was labor? Does it void the warranty or maintenance package?
I did the ECU from Stasis and it added some fun, I wouldn't waste your time with exhaust.
The ECU was 1400 and if I recall the exhaust was around 2000, again I only added the ECU.
The ECU upgrade does not void the warranty when the dealer does the install, you get that in writing. I wouldn't have done if it did and hence why you pay 1400 bucks versus the cheaper do it your self options.

well I don't know how much I can tell that the Stasis website wont tell you. For all the fun numbers I recommend going there but let me focus on what matters, well at least what I think does.
Does it violate the warranty? No, not when sold and installed by the dealer. Now I'm not saying that any part sold by the dealers is covered but in this case it is. Stasis and Audi has some special agreement to do this.
Is it worth it? sure I would do it again. The numbers show you are adding 60hp and that is a nice jump. Now I don't feel the car is night and day but I would say it has more attitude now. I would certainly do this ECU over other for the exact reason above about the warranty. Some other versions may cost less and you can do them your self but how fast can a non warranty claim eat up the difference in cost? real fast!
Why didn't I do the exhaust? not worth the money for less than 10hp, dont forget the HP numbers don't stack, much of the hp will overlap.
How do you get one? contact your Audi dealer and ask if they sell Stasis, if they do you will bring in your car and it will out of commission for 3 days, one day to pull the ECU and ship, a day to receive the ECU and flash it, then another day to over night it back and install.
There is nothing you need to do once you have it but drive it. There isn't any funny break-in period for the ECU. Now there is adaptive memory but that will be all done and settled for the most part even before you pick it up.
I hope that helps and make sure to look over the Stasis website for anything new they maybe doing. There is a turbo upgrade they are doing, I only looked into the price and was over 4k and just not what I was looking to do.
I sell my car every 12 months so getting into them neck deep in mods doesn't make sense.

Much deliberation and I have pulled the trigger on the Stasis suspension upgrade for my 2010 A6 3.0T. I am waiting patiently for the Stasis ECU upgrade for this vehicle - rumored to be by year end (just a few weeks now) giving a HP from 300 to 400HP.
Always felt the ride and feel of the A6 was great - but want to lower the car (1.3 inches) and firm up road feel to be more direct in response ahead of the HP upgrade
Didn't feel the need to take on the exhaust - nice to have but not need to have - and where I live (Northern States) it makes no sense to take on the Stasis wheel and tire package - based on the need for winter tires.
The stasis folks are supremely helpful - their products are covered under a 50,000 mile, 4 year warranty - which made it a no brainer for me when considering ECU upgrade options. Why would I want to compromise the warranty on a brand new car - Audi stands behind Stasis and rightly so.
I'll update once I get my ECU and Suspension done - will throw up a before and after picture as reference to the Suspension

I just bought my first Audi, 2011 A4 Titanium package manual trans (after driving a BMW 540i six speed manual for 8+ years). I was surprised that it's only 4cly, but it performs very well as you already know.
I'm happy that Stasis backs up the 4yr/50k warranty. As I tend to buy and hold my vehicles, I extended my warranty to 7yrs with Fidelity Warranty Services.
Has anyone done the Stasis ECU mod with an extended warranty? I'm going to call the warranty company, but I'd like to know if anyone has had a real life experience.

I just bought a 2011 A4 at the beginning of January and have been thinking about having the STaSIS ECU mod done when they release it for the 2011's. I'm not really interested in spending the extra money on the exhaust, but I'm wondering how much of the advertised performance gain is attributable to the exhaust. The STaSIS website says the ECU mod is good for 261 hp and 305 lb-ft of torque "when paired with STaSIS exhaust components". I contacted STaSIS to ask about the gains for the ECU mod only and the verbatim response I got was "without the exhaust you'd be looking at a difference of 5hp". Based on what jketron posted about his experience, it sounds like the difference in performance is noticeable without the exhaust, and I find it hard to believe you'd notice a difference in performance if it was only 5 hp. jketron implied the exhaust is only good for 10 hp or less, and also said the hp numbers don't stack, much of the hp will overlap.
Something just doesn't make sense about the answer I got from STaSIS. I feel like they're trying to sell the exhaust so they're making vague statements or not telling the whole story. I'm just trying to figure out what kind of gains I'm going to get for ~$1400 if I only do the ECU mod. Does anyone know what the real answer is?

Thanks Slee Stack.
5-10 hp for an exhaust sounds like everything I've heard in the past so I'm really confused why the STaSIS rep would tell me the ECU mod is only good for 5 hp without the exhaust. Any idea why they would make a claim like that? When I asked about gains for the ECU mod alone, the guy I talked to was very evasive and said he'd have to talk to the engineers and get back to me. When he did, all I got was the PDF brochure with the combined numbers.
