Is there any turbo upgrade for the B8 A4/A5 2.0T?

Hi, i've surfing the web for a turbo upgrade for the 2.0t valvelift without succes. The only thing available is software.

My dream car is a 300hp A5 2.0T s-tronic, catted.

I'll appreciate any information.

Nope none yet. I'm having the same problem. There really isn't much out for the B8 except for chip, exhuast, and intercooler upgrades. We just have to wait and make sure we have the $5,000+ to spend when the kits do come out.

We can make anything from a modest 300hp to over 600 for the 2.0T. If anyone is interested you can call us at (443)242-6436

Well it depends if you wanna just throw on a bigger turbo or do it right with a complete kit.

having a kit is not necessarily "doing it right". a kit is developed because a company chooses a good set of upgrades and it happens to be popular which the company will make as a kit to attract people. basically you can take your car to any performance shop, tell them what outcome and price range you want and they can give you a run down of what can be done and the pros and cons. RAI for example is an excellent company.

but please, don't just throw a turbo on the car like master said and be done with it. your car won't like you at all lol

Not saying they aren't good but I like the idea of a kit because there's no guess work, no trying to figure out what size injectors to get no taking chances with someone blowing up your car when they tune it. You buy the kit and everything is in sync and sometime warrented too :)

I'd agree that a kit from a good shop it worth the wait. I have a new 2010 Avant and I'm getting a ECU upgrade from Stasis engineering. I choose them because it came recommended, it retained the warranty, and the numbers looked good. I would like to find a more aggressive kit and when the right balance comes out I will buy one.

I did the ECU upgrade from Stasis Engineering and I have found it to be a nice add-on. I like the additional power and the fact it doesn't violate the warranty. The car runs great and now it just feels like it has more power. There are talks at Stasis of a full kit for this car and if so I plan on looking into one.

Thats good to hear about the warranty w/ the stasis upgrades. I am going to be leasing either a a4 or a5 soon- and really need some more power out of it. The a4/a5's are my favorite looking cars right now and the lease deals are great...... Now if I can just get a lil more umph.....

APR's "daily driver" turbo kit came out last sat. I say daily driver because it's has a stock appearance in the engine bay and it's drivable for everyday activities. The kit boost the 2.0T to figures around 315hp and 370tq. I would recommend this kit over the next one they put out which I'm guessing will have over 400tq but made more for racing not driving to work and picking kids up from school

P.s I think everything in this kit is external so no digging into the motor. It's basically remove the old exhaust manifold and turbo and put the new one on!
