Default What Tuning software is undetectable?

I want to know what tuning software that is out there that can be turned on and off so if i were to get my car tuned and then got a "check engine" light turn on my car, then i can just turn off the tune so they don't detect it. If you know anything about this then don't be afraid to comment.

Edit: I contacted a nearby auto shop and asked them about a tuning software that could be turned off and on and I was told there was a tuning software out there that comes with a switch which would be $200 and the tune would be $600. Sadly my memory can't grab the name.

APR for sure has a tune u can switch on and off.

That being said, i dont think any tune is completely undectable. That was My impression when shopping for tunes last summer.

Worried about warranty?

Stasis tuning comes with a warranty that matches the Audi warranty. So if Audi makes an issue, Stasis covers the problem. The catch is that Stasis is more expensive than other tunes.

Is this chip worth the money? Hard to believe $70 can deliver the performance they advertise.

I'm actually looking for a software that can be turned off or on. so it can't be detected by Audi dealerships if i were to take my car in for a problem that might not be related to the software.

From 1st hand experience this is a good way to go if you dont want to hide a tune from the dealership. Well at least my dealership because they do Stasis tuning. I'm not sure if all dealerships do. u can be completely open about the car having a tune when going with Stasis. Stasis is sort of the approved tuner for Audi

i dont think such thing exists. I did this research about a year ago, so i cant remember everything sharply, but the takeaway was that all tunes can be detected. i wonder if any tuner with a switch even provides a guarantee about their tune being "undetectable". i would be surprised, but if you find one, heck, go with them. and if there was an undetectable tune that existed, i'm sure Audi would be all over that trying to find a way to detect it. they certainly wouldn't just sit and do nothing about it. i mean think about it, if u get a tune that ends up wearing components prematurely, Audi is going to want a way to prove that they are not liable and that it was ur fault. i doubt they would blindly cough up the $.

summary
1) out of all tuners, Audi is least likely to give you problems with a stasis tune since the two are associated with each other
2) unless there is a guarantee, assume all tunes can be detected

sounds way to good to be true. i love how they say it doesn't affect warranty. hahaha. ya try telling the Audi dealership that the reason you dont have to pay for something is because you read that on a website. haha. for these issues best to ask your warranty provider directly first.

GF Performance Chip Kit for the CHEVROLET CORVETTE - Corvette Forum

nobody in this corvette forum seem to like it. and i think a corvette forum is not a bad place to look for performance enthusiasts. personally, i wouldnt do it. but they do provide a 100% money back, no questions asked, guarantee. so for the price of putting ur car on a dyno you can find out if this is legit.
