Default What type of oil?

Its come time to add oil to my wifes 2010 A4. I have always used Mobil 1 synthetic in my cars and trucks.
Any reason not to do the same with the Audi?

Thanks for the quick reply thats just the answer I was looking for.

The next question (sorry if it seems basic) is how do I know how much oil to add? The oil level indicator on the MMI is almost to the bottom reading Low, and I dont have a warning light yet. Does low mean add one quart?

We use Castrol Edge 5W-40 . The scale on the MMI is 1 quart if you are at the bottom of the indicator. I would add 3/4 of a quart and warm up the engine and then take another reading. Top up if necessary . I would also go out and buy a dip stick as a back up reading.
