That would be pretty sweet, but I just can't see it happening here.

that is a very good idea. but we all know the us would never allow that. i live in western new york where they are starting to put in the red light cameras that take a pic of your plate if you run a red. great idea right? well they said if they dont get a big enough return they are going to shorten the yellow lights to increase revenue. now for everyone that lives in a snow area answer me this; is stopping in the snow easy when they havent plowed yet? also is it better to just roll through a yellow in the snow or try to slam on your brakes in the snow?

i would say to roll through the yellow, before i got my Audi, i had a Ford Explorer, even in 4x4 in the snow, ive slammed on my brakes, and all you do is slide faster. its fun if there's no one around for you to hit, but i wouldn't suggest to brake hard in snow. i just got my Audi this June, so i haven't been able to test it in the snow.

awww.. that is sick, i want!

Jc61990:
I feel for ya, i didnt have an explorer, but i had a cherokee with BFG All Terrains on it, which handled amazing in the snow themselves, even more amazing with chains around them, but i used to love going up in the mountains outside where i live and finding big open spots and get going and just mash on the brakes and slide around, or even in empty parking lots, so much fun. im stoked to try out my '01 Allroad this year in the snow, its a ways away, but ive already got my thule racks, board clamps, and thule box all ready to go from me jeep, got some new attachments for my car, so im set to take it up in the snow, cant wait!
