Translogic: Illuminati Seven

A few years ago, the Automotive X-Prize tested the abilities of teams to create a vehicle capable of achieving more than 100 MPGe. The folks at Illuminati Motor Works bested that goal with their all-electric Seven, a vehicle that'll reach an astonishing 207 MPGe. Tony Stewart hits, kills Kevin Ward, Jr.

Sad news from the world of NASCAR Sprint Cup this weekend - three-time champion Tony Stewart hit and killed fellow driver Kevin Ward, Jr., following an on-track allocation. Ward exited his car, throwing his hands up in frustration, and walked toward Stewart as he came back around the track under the caution flag. Stewart's car came into contact with Ward, who was sucked under the car before being thrown several meters back toward the wall.
