Default What's Audi's timing for 2007s?

So when does Audi plan on putting out 2007s? Is it late August and Sept like other manufacturers or later in the year?

An Audi salesman told me that all S class audis would have the flat bottomed steering wheel like the RS4 in 07. Anyone else heard anything about the differnces between '06s and '07s?

I dunno about the flat bottomed steering wheel but I know that the '07s are already out as evidenced by Ebay.

i dont think that any of the north american cars will have flat bottomed wheels, there was something about the safety of it that audi didnt want to deal with to sell it in the US. but maybe in europe

I quite like them they give a little more space between your legs and the steering wheel and look sporty

I think they look sporty too. I hope the salesmen was right. I had heard that the seats in the Euro RS4 and maybe S6 wouldn't make it to the US.

My original question was worded poorly, since I think all RS4s are considered '07s. What I was really looking for is when will 2007 S4s be in the showrooms?

Cool. That makes it sound more likely that my salesman wasn't full of $hit.

if memory serves, flat-bottomed steering wheels are illegal in the N.American market. Something about how retarded O-Ma & O-Pa are, here, in America... Remember the "sudden acceleration"? THAT was ALL due to a 1-inch spacing difference in so-called standard American market vehicles and the more "sporty" heel-and-toe enabled Audi-ii of the late '70's/early '80's. Imagine what a FIELD DAY the lawyers'd have with a not-quite-round steering wheel the first time a traffic fatality occurs... I think your best bet will be ebay.co.de, or ebay.co.it or .fr, .gb, .whatevereuropeancountrydesignationyoucanthinkof.. . I'd be phenominally suprised if you find one of those out-of-round-ers @ audiusa.com
