I'm currently looking to do the same thing on my car too man!
I've trying to figure out if its better to get these: http://www.purems.com/products/product.php?II=793
or these: http://www.stealthauto.com/Products/...BULB-D1C-.aspx

do you happen to know the difference between 8000k bulbs and 12,000 bulbs? Oh and how are you getting your reflectors?

I can't help with the photochop on this one, but I will comment on the bulbs. 8000K's are going to be sort of blue-ish/purple-ish, and I can only imagine that 12,000K's will be almost straight purple. My personal opinion would be to get the 8000K's (or even the 6000K's will have a blue/purple tint, but still put off great visibilty), whereas the 12,000K's sort of make it look like you're trying too hard, and will probably have very poor visibility.

Just my £0.02.

I would imagine that the stockers are probably 4300K's, but I'm not 100% positive.

I'm not so sure about that website, either. I would check VVME.com first before I made any decisions. Something about that whole site you posted is just a little off, though. 4300K's are NOT yellow-tinted. I've got 4300K's, and they're nowhere near yellow, in my opinion.

Here's the link: http://www.vvme.com/ Most people that do an HID upgrade get their kit from here.

My lights are completely stock, so I don't know how difficult it is to change the bulbs, ballasts, etc. out. I was gonna get myself some 6000K's for Christmas, but it looks like I'm gonna have enough money tolower my car, so I'm gonna do that instead.

If you go here - http://www.vvme.com/product/detail-20022.html- there's a pretty good comparison of the different light temps at the bottome of the page.

I have asked/looked around the forums about the silver headlight assemblies, but to no avail. I have a Red TT and was wondering if someone here could give me a peek at what it would look like to have them done. I am going to do the angel eyes, clear corners and remove the side reflector when I paint it, so it should look alomost like the one in the attachment. Im not sure how good it will look next to the red paint, but I think it looks sexy next to the silver. if some one can do the angels eyes too... that would be much appreciated. Thanks!!

Instead of silver paint why not do red? There are a few TTer's that have painted headlight housings.
Check out their galleries for an idea what it would look like. ...I still think you should paint them the same color as your car!

I see, do you happen to know which ones I would need for the b7? Also is it true that the higher you go in K's the less light output there is? meaning less distance covered?

Yeah, that's definitely true. Basically, the bluer they are, the less helpful they'll be in real-world driving. Not sure about the sizes, though. If you use the search engine on here and just go through some old threads, you'll probably find the size. If not, just put up a post in either the S4 section or the A4 section (pretty sure it gets more traffic); I'm sure somebody will know.

If you've got any other questions, you can always send me a PM. I feel like I've completely thread-jacked, here. [:@]lol.
