hey i just got my first car. it is a 1992 100 cs. well there is a 10 cd changer in the trunk but it doesnt play my new burnt cds. what should i do? and also the are alot of light scratches and i want to know what to do about them.

I had a 93 100 CS and the reason the cd player won't play burned cd's is that it's 15 years old and they didn't have that technology back then. I removed all that crap and put in a Kenwood head unit which was quitea task considering I had to rewire all the speakers to bypass the factory amp. It took me a good saturday all day working on the wiring in the car. But after that I never had any trouble with the sound system. I even took out the ski bag and had 2 12" subs with a bandpass box that ported into the cabin through the arm rest in a custom built box.

Try some Meguiars cleaner wax on the scratches and then put on some gold class.

Nero is a software for burning cd, dvd and such

 

well would it be able to make cds that play in a 16 year old cd changer

 

yup ... works with any other cd player that has no support for cd-r
