As you can see, I am brand new to the site. I just bought a 1989 Audi 100 2.3 Automatic yesterday and had a few technical questions for everyone. Any help would be much appreciated!

First, do all of the Delta radios HUs come with Bose speakers Std. or is it an option? What exactly would i need to go through to properly install a new Alpine deck/speakers?

What are common emergency/parking brake problems? It seems my cable is connected, but i can completely pull up on the e-brake and nothing happens. Where can i buy a complete e-brake assembly? could it be a problem with my rear calipers?

What are some common things to watch maintenece-wise on higher milage 100's? I plan on replacing all of the belts, WP, Crank seal, and buying some gasket replacement kits for the head and transmission.

I heard the Auto-transmission is the weak point of the car, what precautions should i take in caring/preventing wear on the trasmission?

I have a lot of experience with VW, but not very much with Audi. So i'm sure i will become a frequent member of the forums.
