Im looking for my first car and this one is one of my top choices but i was wondering is 161000 miles too much?

very nice motor there mate, I wouldn't worry too much over the mileage because the engines on them are bullet proof and it looks like its been well looked after but still check the service history

thanks but i dont think im going to get it its failed quite a few emmisions.

no worries at all - my first Audi was a 90 - it had 233,000 miles on the clock and it ran like a dream.... as its been said the lumps in these cars are solid.... if they are looked after they will run and run and run I had no issues at all (only general wear and tear stuff like plugs, filters etc) - sold it on when it had 272,000 miles - only reason I sold it was because I fell for an A6 TDI and at the time fuel was costing me a fortune - was forced to work 55 miles away and the government here love to tax fuel almost £1.00 a litre now its a flaming joke
